    Pullet or rooster silkie

I bring it in the house and mess with it, it's very content with sitting on a towel for hours. Never moves, occasionally talks to me, I'm hoping pullet. I got it and 2 whites that aren't as full feathered in an assortment bantam box from cackle hatchery and just ordered 10 more assorted silkies...

Help. Chicks dying half out of shell...

I only assist if I feel they aren't progressing very much in a matter of time. I work 11 hours a night, 5 days a week, so I'm in long enough to turn eggs I've set recently and remove hatched chicks. Help! Red Golden with broken leg.

I'd rather not do that if at all possible because he is my only red golden and my favorite bird I have. He's very alert and very healthy. I just lost his hen last week to unknown causes, just hate to lose him now. I'm going to splint his leg again when he's rested some, but something to keep...

Help! Red Golden with broken leg.

Need advice quickly! Came home at 7am and my red golden male was fine, my mom came home at 8 and he was limping and hopping on 1 foot. Got him wrapped in a towel and brought in the house in a box now wrapped in a tube sock with a small sock over his head to keep him calm. His leg has a small...

    What are these?

They all have the extra toe like a silkie, the last one is missing a toe on 1 side I noticed, but a couple have white skin and a couple have black. I think these might be crossed with something.

    What are these?

I got 5 chicks today from a guy that I bought a coop from. He said they are silkies and they all have the extra town, but a couple have white feet and I'm not sure on the coloring on these. Any ideas on what they might be? the 2 in the middle are the same color.

    Male or Female help.

I bought these peafowl at an Amish auction and was told it was a male and female. But the female had the same barred patten on her back as the male. Is this possible? Or have I ended up with 2 males?
