Yes,I had a bantam roo that had only one wattle-hatchery origin-When I noticed it, was no mark that he had been injured in any way. Thought I was seeing things. Can't remember the breed but definately a colorful bantam of a breed that I had specificly chosen. Unfortunately he was hawk lunch.

Then I added 4 gold sexlink pullets of similar age that I had gotten just for the turkey companions as thought they would "be more...

Hi, I live in a cold climate so am looking for a bantam that lays lots of larger bantam size eggs & would tolerate confinement for the cold months. How do you think this breed would do under these types of conditions ? And about how many eggs/year do these lay compared to large fowl RIR ...

    Silkie thread!

I have used homeopathics on chickens with success-often Arnica low potency will make the animal feel good enough to eat & drink if pain is a problem. , & then they are on the road to recovery. Definately need molasses or another sugar source for energy. Hyland's brand Bioplasma does wonders...

Another SAFE mousetrap if you don't have small children or other small pets is a 5 gal bucket of water partially fulll with a ramp as the only water source for the mice.

    Silkie thread!

Amazingly one of the best mousers around are guinea fowl. Possibly you might find someone who has one or two pets they would part with to clean up your rodent problem.......I had noticed several times that mice were too close to my. silkie broodies outdoors.
