    I Have Peacocks Now

The people that I got them from said they sell their feathers 3 for $5 when they fall out. I have enjoyed watching them run around the small coop. I really need to make it bigger for them. It has just been way too hot. I hope that one of the little ones is a female. Now I just need to find some...

Finally, Duck Pen Is Built Enough For Them To Move In

Thank you again everyone! I am starting to believe that I should have just fenced in the whole yard. I picked that spot just for the shade of the trees. One of the trees is a peach tree. Does anyone know if they eat ripe peaches? Is it good for ducks? I don't put the ducks with the chickens...

How do you call your chickens?

I don't have to call mine at all. I think they know the sound of my truck. They all pile up near the corner of the run. I can hear them acting all crazy behind the house and I park in the front. On my day off I can walk out and not hear anything. When they get out and free range on their own, I...

http://pic50.picturetrail.com/VOL422/9131871/16828219/268180040.jpg All the ducks were enjoying their new home. They completely trashed the brooder with water and moist bedding. I couldn't keep up with them. Now all 7 of them have a 10' x 20' run to play in complete with an old steel tub. They...

    I'm getting a free shed! How-to-move-it questions

I have moved sheds before and the best and cheapest way is with a rollback tow truck. Another option is the trailer rental. In order to push it up on a trailer, you will need about 3 or 4 pieces of large heavy duty PC pipe as wide as the shed. Lift the side of the shed closest to the trailer and...
