I do put eggs on top of each other in my incubator. I put another wire mesh layer on top of the actual one and it works good. I usually put the next batch of hacthing eggs on the top layer and put quail eggs in with the chickens' too. It works out for me...

Hi, I will be processing 8 meaties ina couple of weeks and would like to give a try at making stock the way frugal described it in another post. One question though, for how long can it be preserved in that way and what is the actual preserving process..any links pls??
I was going to post this in the turkeys section but I think that here more people raise for meat. I have 5 Broad breasted whites, they are 3 weeks old and lately I have noticed them eating their own poo. They dont eat all of it of course but I have noticed them pecking at fresh dark brown sticky...
Maybe he needs to get used to you a little bit more? Also the sneaking is not a good idea of wacthing the birds, it may give them a predator feeling you know..?!

I know of a mill though, I'lll check it out in acouple of days. I dont bulk buy feed, feed store is just 100mt up the road!
