    There are several forms of respiratory disease in chickens. Coryza, MG, Infectious bronchitis to name a few. No cure as to my knowledge only treatments for the symptoms.

    yea i understand Chickens are true survival of the strongest creatures .... if they sense something's not right maybe a sick or weak bird will usually end up dead. I think they would pick peck and poke at that chick until it was dead so separating it might be the only way to get it to live any...

    Could you determine if the bird had sour crop? Large squishy crop . If its hard that could be an impancted crop . If it is sour crop you want to withhold feed and separate from other birds. Hang upside down and empty the crop as much as possible without causing harm to the bird. Then if the crop...

    you could add a vented ridge cap and/or make the 2 ends of the coop area open and could cut plywood or plastic to cover in the winter. No insulation is needed for most breeds although there are breeds that only have smooth feathers that are not cold tolerant at all (ex seramas and modern game).

    Tylan 200 is 4 times the strength of tylan 50 ...so you would take a standard injectable dosage for a large fowl (6-8lb bird) 1 cc per day for 5-7 days and divide it by 4 to get the correct dosage.
