Definitely seems to be the color of Welsummers, however I'd expect the chicks to be darker hmm... It'll definitely be easier to tell for sure once they're older!

Most common with that color is Sussex, and the comb at that age makes me unfortunately think too :(

Thank you for the response! I'll pass it off to the family and we'll keep our fingers crossed. Definitely no breeding, no roosters for us unfortunately with the current neighbors we have being not big fans of chickens as it is.

Ah yes we're aware! It's our first time ever having a self blue and we're very excited that she is a little lady! Bummer that the crele turned out to be a cockerel though :(

4 & 6 look like pullets, however the rest look like cockerels to me. The colors on 3 & 5 are what make me think cockerel, the other two it's the combs

Most feedstores will breed EE to look a certain way, these guys do not fit that description (ie, no beards). White EE's are also not super common unless backyard bred in my experience.
