    Thanks to everyone for the support. Ya'all gave me courage not to give up! Few more days of meds and she back with the flock. She is definitely feeling better, tries to escape when I change her water! Eating normal too!

    thank you! Since she is starting to eat, I will give her a couple says rest with the sulfa. I found a conversion on this site stating 1 tps per gallon as recommend by a Durvet rep. So I am comfortable with that for now. Last the I saw the foaming has stopped so maybe the sulfa is kicking in...

    I may get some tylan. I am afraid she isn't drinking enough to get enough sulfa. plus I only have the powder an it is next to impossible to know how much to mix. what if the dose for Tylan 50?

    Thanks , I have her as an egg layer, so I may steer clear of Baytril. Tylan 50 or someone else suggested Sulfadimethoxine... which I have on hand. I will clean her eye again. didn't want to stress her too much at one time., plus I am hoping the ointment softens it up .
