I have the same problem! My hens are 3+ years old and a couple of them have recently laid pullet size eggs.

We had a bobcat get in with ours. It killed all the ones that were unable to fly into the rafters. The dead ones showed little sign of being attacked. It did take one chicken to eat I suppose. The only way we knew it was a bobcat was we captured a picture of it on a nearby game camera.

I noticed my pullet sitting on the roost all day. I wasn’t sure what to do. But I caught her and squeezed her crop. When I did water gushed out of her mouth! I did it several times until not much came out. What could be wrong with her? Do I need to take her to the vet?

She is pooping, but it is very runny and sticks to her bottom.

Could she be egg bound if she hasn't laid in a couple of years? She is 5.5 years old. I have not seen her on a nest in months. She has very runny poop. It sticks to her bottom. Is there some sort of infection she could have that is causing the diarrhea? If so, what sort of medicine would help?
