Is the Chick started medicated? I keep my chicks on starter for 6-8 weeks, then switch to grower. Same for Turkeys.

I culled one of our roosters this evening and I feel rather bad about it (moral issues). It was not a very nice rooster and it was somewhat of an agressive rooster too. I hope I did the right thing, I couldn't give it to anyone because of its behavior. I just don't feel good about it.
