The guy hatched them himself..
Ive asked around about keeping them and looked up laws and cant find anything about keeping them.
Maybe I can trade him for a couple poults
I traded an man 2 turkeys for a goat. He brought them over in the dark so I couldnt see them well, not that I would know a real difference anyways (obviously why Im here)
He said "now shes young and might not start laying till fall season". Well she hasnt laid yet.
A couple days ago I was out...
If you are a female will you allow someone over to your house if there is not a man home?
There have been a couple times I have but ...idk Im kind of growing uneasy about allowing other men to come to my house without my SO home.
If I did wait for him it would take forever to sell animals...
The local radio station here in Georgia did a short bit on it this morning. It sounds like they dont have their facts or they are getting them from a media source that doesnt know the full truth.
The radio station is pretty good about talking about stuff their listeners bring to their attention...
A lot of people, myself included, probably thought "What can I do?"
I feel awful that this happened but Im still left wondering "What can I do?"
It takes a lot of people to stand up to the government. Now a days people feel powerless.
How do you get people to listen??
If this doesnt bring the problems to light I dont know what will. I have been following his story for awhile now and it is just plain awful what the y did to him.
Ive never really had a problem with my LG..
Just be sure to not put it anywhere drafty ...and just so you know... the knob is TOUCHY. Turn it just slightly for temp changes. SLIGHTLY
Mine have oddly been laying throughout the winter w/ no extra light as well..
This week Ive had 4 eggs out of 8 hens... even though 6 of them are new
Maybe its the sudden cold snap?
He didnt say "wild" eastern.. just eastern turkeys. He did say he hatched and raised them himself.
I just noticed that McMurry wouldnt ship to Ga so that is why I question
....and yes I am on the GON.
I put some goats up for sale or trade. A guy emailed me asking if I didn't want to do a part trade for a pair of eastern turkeys.
I can't seem to find anything about being able to legally own them in Georgia..
Also he said he gets $30 each for them. Is the the going rate?
