Yep...but I can remove the glass container lids to add humidity....works well by adjusting how much surface area is exposed as to how much humidity there is....Building a new one this fall and winter from a dual door mini fridge/cooler...going to make it the deluxe model with everything...

You can add on very easily to the prefab....But as some other members have said it would be easier to add on to the run first and give them more room to roam and then add on to the coop next....As I mentioned earlier in my post some of your birds will for sleep in the nest boxes which is bad...

I agree with HEchicken that mine would rather drink out of the nastiest mud puddle than anything I can provide for em.....I do what I can on keeping the water as fresh and clean as possible and let them choose what they want to drink. I free-range mine during the day and provide (5) different...

I love sand....Have it both of my coops and runs....I agree with 4 The Birds, just rake or sift it out and add to it if needed.....No organic compounds in sand that rots so it should not go "bad"....Maybe they meant adding to and not replacing.......

Just added a mini one to my silkie coop.....Works so far, although they have plenty of other places to get water while free-ranging all day in the yard. Nice to know that if I keep em in the coop/run they have water and feed available or if I am collecting eggs for hatching and not letting them...

Here is my 2nd door installed.....Love it as much as the first one....

All seemed better today. No blood anyway....They were all in the coop tonight together and didnt hear any fighting or bickering all afternoon. Hope they got it figured out....
