I know there are a few other Orloff owners and breeders on here so I thought it would be nice if we all showed pictures and talked about how much we love them. Those of us who own them know they're a great breed and this is a good way to introduce this rare breed to other members. More on breed...

We finally had a day of warm weather and I couldn't resist letting these out and taking pictures
The game breeds represent intelligence, athletic ability and beauty. This thread is designed for people who appreciate the character and look of game breeds. We all know there are quite a few misconceptions about the game temperment and I would like a thread where we counter those...
This is Gaidin, he's a 3 year old American Game. I was just celebrating that he's almost fully feathered by taking pics of him and wanted to share I absolutely love this rooster he's beautiful, calm and easy to handle, nice to his hens and loves chicks

I read a theory (in The Russian Orloff Fowl by Dr Joseph Batty) that the comb of a crested breed could modify the walnut comb of the Malay into the version the Orloffs carry. I happen to have Polish (crested) and Orloffs so I crossed the two, hatched out half a dozen and so far they have...

These guys also hatched... since there is also...
As you can see my white OEG hen is flithy, she decided to make her nest under an old car... Has anyone ever given a chicken a bath? What do you use? dish soap? shampoo? She needs help.
Every spring my free range game hens go broody and disappear and there are always a few who don't ever come home but this one was lucky... I almost stepped on them before the hen attacked me
I also had peeping in one of the pens although it was hard to get a good pic with both Mom & Dad on...
It's been 4 years since my buff laced were chicks and I can't remember what the hens vs rooster looked liked
This was the only one that hatched... power failure for longer than the backup on the incubator so I'm hoping for a hen.
This was sold as a pure Blue Wheaton Ameraucana (not an Easter Egger)... I was wondering if anyone who knows more about Ameraucanas than I do (which is about everyone ) thinks that's what this is or if it's just another Easter Egger. I'm not looking for show birds, these are my sons "pets" and...
