I recently treated a Pekin, Marlow, for bumblefoot. After two months, he stopped limping, and he’s now doing so much better. He’s got his sense of self preservation back, and is no longer lethargic. A picture of him is below. I’m so thankful for the time I had with him, and he has put me on a...
My mini rose, Rosaline, was recently attacked by spider mites and has been very slow to recover. As soon as things look up, something else goes wrong. Now the edges of her leaves are turning brown. She’s also very fragile. Any suggestions on how to save her?
I found a dumped Pekin in Georgetown, KY suffering from bumblefoot. I’ve treated him for it, and he’s nearly healed, but I never intended to keep him past this point. I begin work soon and will be too busy to care for him. I would love to find him a new forever home.

I recently noticed my Pekin Marlow had fleas or lice of some sort on his head and neck, and now he’s losing feathers in the same area. I treated him and his coop with a spray from TSC, and haven’t actually seen any of them since. But, it still looks pretty uncomfortable and he’s itching the area...
I’ve noticed these little guys around my Pekin’s eye. Are they fleas? It’d be good to know, that way I’m sure that the treatment I’ll be doing will actually work.
I plan on cleaning his coop, spraying paraffin, and applying poultry insecticide powder from TSC around his head. Another problem...
Hi, I’m Kai (they/them) and I have very little experience with poultry. XD I got interested when I found a Pekin with bumblefoot at my park. I’ve been treating him for quite some time now, as well as his other afflictions.
While he’s in my care, I want to make sure he’s taken perfect care of...
