So I have gotten a nice amount of chick's from tractor supply in February. I have 2 that were to be plymouth rock hens. But they do not look the same AT ALL. One is barred nicely already have a nice big comb and wattles. The other... has a very almost nonexistent comb. And barely any wattle. But...

Soft shell egg and watery poo... Should i worry?

Hello! My hen just started laying a week ago. Shes a little bantam mutt. Her eggs have been fine (pretty tiny but all around yummy) we've gotten about 4 ao far. One every other day. I've noticed her poop has been super watery. Not always. But maybe 2 or 3 times a day. Like a lot of watery and...

    Just curious....

I have a 21 week old chicken that I've hand raised. Did not hatch her..but got her at 4 days old. Her breed is a mystery. She came from a hen who escaped a fighting ring/breeder. Shoes kind of tiny compared to other hens. But she has begun to squat really well for me. Should I expect eggs soon...

I have a chicken who is about 5 months old. Shes healthy and happy. Haven't had any issues with her. She eats and drinks just fine. But a few minutes ago while i was admiring her she shook her head and a bunch of water/fluid of some sort came out. Never seen that happen. And then she pooped this...

I just wanted to share cuteness.

This is my 5 week chick. No idea the breed. Since it's cold we've kept her inside. She is my only chick but I have 3 hens. I think it's easy to say we've spoiled her. This is her hanging on out on my bed.

Trying to figure out this little ones breed

This little one is 4 weeks old. No clue of breed. I couldn't even tell you what color egg it hatched from. It was given to me when it was a few days old. The people just had a random hen lay a bunch of eggs in their shed. Never caught a picture of her for reference. Maybe you eggsperts could help?

    Is this okay?!

I have a chick who is a few days over 3 weeks old. It seems happy and healthy. Eats. Plays Chirps. Drinks. But it has a tendency to just...fall over on its side. Not fast. It's very slow motion just kind of tilts over like it's going to sleep. But after a few it springs back up to whatever it...

So on thursday my hen who had laid her very first egg the day prior got attacked by our dog :( But she seems to be doing just fine! Her shock lasted maybe 2 hours. And her wounds are actually healing nicely. (Some of you may have helped me in my earlier post about it all when it happened.) Well...
