    Heat lamp and egg laying

    Hello all. My buff Orpington's have started molt nearly a month ago. With cold temps coming I have put in a heat lamp to help waterer from freezing. With the red light going will this bring them out of molt sooner and egg production start again? If so, how long would it take?

    Finally did the butcher

    well finally took the time and butchered my two Roos this morning and I gotta say it was not worth the time and effort. Next time I get some Roos I am either going to give them away or let them just run wild and let nature take its course
