Cold days effect on eggs and hatching

How much does the really cold days effect the hatch-ability of eggs when they can't be gathered until end of day? I wouldn't say it was cold enough to freeze them but maybe 19 deg. outside and 27 inside. Should I chance setting them or just wait for warmer days?

Can one baby duck survive alone?

I have never hatched a duck before... but a neighbor gave me about 10 eggs that they had planned to eat but decided they didn't like them. So either because they may have been in the fridge or they were not fertile there is only one that appears to be hatching. No other chicks to put it with...

I waited a long time for my BCM from Bev Davis stock. I have 18 chicks that are about 4-5 weeks old and I have them mixed with 35 layers or so. I was thinking I would leave these together long term and just make sure I have no roos other than BCM's. Does anyone see a problem with a breading...
