    Breeding Rhode Island Blue Roo

    Has anyone bred a Rhode Island Blue Roo back to straight Rhode Island Red? What do you typically see color wise? If I am correct the RIB comes from a RIR bred with an Australorp which throws RIBlue, RIR, or RIBlack??? I am a novice and the dominant genetics throw me. Any help is appreciated...

    What to do with eggs with varying degrees of displaced air cells?

    My eggs arrived today via USPS. They are a variety of LF chicken eggs-15. One was broken and I culled. The blastoderm vs blastodisc was so tiny, I had to get my "cheater" glasses and a magnifying glass to see. Appeared fertile. Here is my dilemma....Upon candeling...3 eggs appear to have ok...

    Just orderd 15 assorted large fowl chicken eggs from Strombergs in Minnesota. I figured the closer to Wisconsin the better for transport/shipping. They arrive 4/24 or 4/25 and ship 4/22. I have taken 3 pages of notes on displaced air cells, letting set for 24hours before incubating, cracks...
