    Odd shaped egg

I just wanted to share this odd shaped egg I got yesterday. It is kinda shaped like a minion...just the color is off. It doesn't really show in the picture but it is almost flat on both sides, top and bottom. It is heavier than regular eggs, so I'm wondering if it might be a double yolker.

Last fall I purchased a rooster from a wellknown breeder. He was molting at the time so I didn't think much of it at first. I had one hen who pecked him and pulled feathers on him. So I understood that he did not feel welcomed and maybe up to par due to the molt. It took him a long time to...

I have been a BYC member for quite some time. What was lacking was the chickens. My dream for years!!! Well, finally, it has come true! 5 Sulmtaler hens and 1 rooster moved into my coop yesterday. They are still a little stressed due to the move in this picture. I'm Astrid, living in Germany.
