Hi....i had a chicken hatch some chicks....any ideas what i might have....i know they are mixed breeds and i am sure the all black one is a roo....but it is looking like the others may be roos as well!....they are 8 weeks...i also have 2 bantam chicks in there that may be roos ...they are 11...

I have this copper maran chicken....I have never seen her in the next box, and pretty sure she has never laid and egg....my question is, are some chickens just unable to lay???...she is well over a year old, and sure is pretty!

I have a broody chicken....I don't have a rooster, so I got her some eggs.....I have to take her off her nest everyday to eat and drink, or I don't think she would get up!....I am wondering at what point should I stop doing that.??...I read about the lock down thing but don't know much about...

i have had chickens for a year now...i have a gold laced wyandotte that is broody!...i have NO roosters...i collect eggs soon as they are laid.....so she is sitting there for hours on nothing!!...first i thought she was just talking a long time to lay an egg...now i know she is broody....i have...
