I'm sitting inside loving the sound of thunder and heavy rain falling on the roof. I got soaking wet after daring it to rain hard on me so I did get a good soaking before I could get back in the house. I will not have to water anything now before Friday at least.
We clean pasty but in the brooder by washing as soon as we see it. Also ACV in the water along with sugar instead of electrolytes helps prevent it. Treats of boiled egg yolk crumbled up fine in a very moderate amount keep them well fed along with starter crumbles.
I've got to make the coop rounds. Might get a shower of rain later but chance is slim. It's going to get mostly cloudy by 11 so I'm turning the pump on and start watering the bean and main corn patch. Mostly likely I'll get a nap in after lunch while the corn is getting a much needed drink.
My bedtime is fast approaching. My meds need to help me sleep all night long tonight. To much to do to sleep in late because I was up during the night.
BTW. Welcome to BYC. Did you make a post in the New Members section? If not you may like to do that and meet a lot more peeps who love poultry of all kinds.
Probably more educated folks in the diseases and injury forums than here in the chat thread. I know so little but should know more. Right now I know it is my bedtime and need to take my meds so I don't get deficient in some things myself. Goodnight Brewster Land.
Look on Puritan.com for natural sleep remedies that won't conflict with other meds. Might check with your headache specialist too. She might have some good suggestions without a prescription med.
