Great thread. Thanks for the tag. When mine were tiny they enjoyed the mirror in their brooder, now it’s hanging in their coop so they can check their feathers before going out each morning 😂 In their run they have a sandbox and about 30’ of roost bars at different heights that they love. Each...
Thanks so much for the links and helpful information! I think as small as his “potty spot” is, it should be ok when lightly dusted. Yesterday I used vinegar. Yes that’s Rufus in my photo, he absolutely loves when they stand on him and peck his skin. Free grooming, ha!
He’s a pet mini pig. He has a certain area that he pees in so in summer it helps with the smell in the dirt. He’s been around chickens a lot in life and always does great, they seem to all be getting along for almost 2 months now. Chicks have an area that they can get to where he cannot.

Is it ok to give plain organic potting soil to “play” in? Their run is all mulch with a tiny box of sand that they can barely fit into now. But they are let into the yard for most of the day where they like to dig holes and play in the dirt. They will be locked into their run for a few days at a...
They look so happy! Great photos too. I can never get good photos! I have names for all my gals but I cannot tell them apart yet! I love their personalities as they get older (ours are the same
age) ❤️🐓
