I will only feed Purina feeds. I switched to coop last year to save money and my chickens quit laying all together. I switched back and get nice eggs. When raising chicks the Purina Start and Growth formula seems to make them bigger and healthier chicks.

We actually have 4 dogs (Had 5 but had to put one down). One is a golden retriever, one a jack russell, one a shepherd/retriever mix and the other just a mutt. My chickens free roam my 5 acres 24\\7 and none of the dogs even think about killing them. When we first got chickens I lost maybe 5...

Don't feel bad. For the past week we have had no sunshine and my eggs dropped from 14 to 4. Thank god warmer weather is coming back next week.

My coop was on my property when we moved there. It is a 12X20 added on to the back of the garage. Had a 30X50 6ft run on the outside. I am lucky so far. I am getting ready to build a breeding pen for my RIR so who knows what that is going to cost me.

Is there an ending time limit for auctions or is the seller able to end it whenever they like? Just wondering cause I did not see a ending time in any of the auctions.

I found a trio of Barnevelder and a trio of Welsummers. They are all 4-5 months old. He wants $15 a piece for the trios. Just thougtht I would put pics up and see if you all thought they looked like good birds.
