I have red bourbon turkey eggs. I'm looking for some Narragansett eggs, but could also be tempted with blue slate or sweetgrass or possibly even other turkey eggs. Thanks!
Hello! I would like to start a flock of Narragansett turkeys and looking to trade some of my Red Bourbon Eggs for your Narragansetts. Let me know if you're interested! Thanks!
My mother in law recently picked these up for me and couldn't remember what breed she was told they were. The pictures are not real good so if you can't tell for sure just let me know and I'll try to get better pics. They are both bantams and the hen lays a nice light blue egg. Any help is...

Probably depends on weather... but I went early Friday last May and there weren't many set up yet. I had to leave, but it sounded like a lot more people showed up later in the day... but you never know with these kind of events.
I know that you can't really breed a Broad Breasted White Tom with a hen naturally, but can you breed a Bourbon Red Tom to a Broad Breasted Hen and incubate the eggs? Any idea what the cross might look like as far as color and size? Would they retain characteristics of each breed? Thanks!!
Anyone know approximately how many vendors will be setup? I have about a 2 hour drive and honestly don't want to drive that far if there are just a few vendors. Thanks!!
Mine like pumpkins... A LOT! Never had a problem with them eating tomatoes. In fact last year one made a nest in my tomato row right underneath a great big tomato plant, hatched out 9 keets, and never touched a tomato. But I have heard of others having trouble with them getting into tomatoes.
These pheasants were all hatched last May and given to me by a lady down the road who could no longer care for them... she wasn't real sure what they were either... but thought 3 are Red Goldens and 1 a silver... what do the experts think? Thanks!! Sorry for the poor picture quality, they did...
