i dont understand why u could't use a red heat lamp ? u can adjust the heat by lowering or raising the lamp, they give off better warmth than a normal bulb. Why would poultry supply stores sell them ? Are the red bulbs only harder on button quail eye's or all quail chicks. Birds see color, i...

i got a "pair" last month, they ve been cooing back and forth for a while now but tonight....they "done it" lol . I just put a nest box in the cage and they seem to love it. My question is how do i know their a pr for sure ? I ve seen pigeons mate with the same sex before. Thanks.

Ive got perch's in all my cage's that they use alot, 1 inch bamboo stake's. they even sit on the pine branch's. All 7 of my Tennesee reds usually perch all together at night, its cool to see.

not only are all my quail on 1/2" wire 4' off the ground but i ve also put 1/2" wire on the underside of the pens which are 2x3's so there is a 3" gap between wire's. No critter is gunna be grabbing feet
