This is what a balanced layer feed with no treats delivers

My birds get only a balanced layers pellets. They don't look like this. Sorry to be harsh on what is usually a very friendly message board, but: you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Branding for your business or farm and you choose the price!

I have done all my branding already, I'm not an expert but I can do a little. Fair play for offering this to folks, I'm sure some will take you up on it.

    Marking after vent sexing?

I want to separate my birds after hatching - male and female. I've been advised marking them is the best option. Is there a specific poultry marker? Or should I use food die? I want something fairly visible because the birds will be brown. (Slovenian brown, a line bred from rir). We used to...

Any podcast recommendations about breeding and genetics?

Also 80% of each episode is just them trying to shill their "breeding academy". I appreciate the hustle, but I don't want to listen to an hour long advert for 5 mins of information.

Rockethoe’s global hatching adventure: Slovenian eggs in Chinese incubator.

Here's a quick unboxing video I made when it arrives. In a couple days I will do a record my first impressions of it after running it for a couple days with an independent thermometer to see how accurate it is. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGeXnr2fu/

Rockethoe’s global hatching adventure: Slovenian eggs in Chinese incubator.

Incubator finally landed in Rotterdam, apparently the ship had to divert it's course because of the war. So hopefully it will arrive here in Ireland fairly quick now as it's at least in the eu. I've ordered the hatching eggs from Slovenia for a June delivery. They are €0.50 a piece (plus...

    Peeps in Europe!

That's a good price. Ours works out at just under €16 per 20kg plus delivery. And that's a good deal cheaper than buying it on the local Agri stores. It can be anywhere 18-25 per 20kg around here.

Also I visited my local vetinary office to clarify what I needed to do paperwork wise for importing the eggs. They were very helpful and told me that all I need to do was register as an importer on the "traces" system, and in fact that she would even do that for me.

Rockethoe’s global hatching adventure: Slovenian eggs in Chinese incubator.

The incubator should be arriving in Europe in the next couuple of days and then a short hop skip and a jump to us. Work has started on disassembling the shed and rebuilding it into a hatchery. Most of the uprights, and many of the cladding boards are rotten as they weren't treated for about 20...
