Update: I spent some time with time with my chicks and pheasants, the one I had an eye on seems to be getting long tails feathers and is losing feathers in the face, it also has started developing little bumps where spurs should be, I noticed some slight orange in the breast too…
I have a young Ringneck pheasant and it’s about 6-7 weeks I wanna say and I’m not sure of the gender, if anyone could help me out on this it would be much appreciated, here are pictures.
I agree completely. I have seen some people who have peafowl and they feed them the same thing as they feed chickens, layer pellets. It’s not that a little later pellets is bad but they feed it to them in excess so, yeah, I agree with you 100%.
one thing I couldn’t get off my mind is that if it was possible for peafowl such as India blue and green peafowl to hybridize with the Congo peafowl? Is it possible? And if so, has anybody ever seen this before?
