That's really funny. Sometimes it's hard to sex a Silkie until it gets what i call a mane on its neck or crows.:celebrate:drool

I have a Silkie very much like this one with the red bleed through but he's not for sale because he has seizures and i hatched him in April this year. The other chickens pecked most of the down or feathers, still don't know what to call it, out. I separated him other than a couple of Silkie hens...

Welcome. You'll have more fun here than you can imagine. I pieced together my coops and pens with pallets for the floors, 6' old stockade fence for walls and scrap tin for the roofs. I was 60 years old when I retired and reaally got serious about it. it was and is fun. you'll do great...
