I am so sick of buy crummy hen saddles. They are either cheap and flimsy or expensive and made from canvas that is hard on my babies’ skin. I don’t mind spending the money, but I need something soft against their skin but robust. PLEASE, any suggestions would be wonderful!

No squirrels. I suspect a snake, but there are HEN’S eggs.. 20x bigger than a swallow’s egg much closer. The only thing I can think of that could easily get that high is mice. Soooo discouraged

Update: Hen is coming along just fine. The injury is not as severe as it looks because, I think the lighting was off. I will take another picture this morning when I change your bandage.
