I am so sick of buy crummy hen saddles. They are either cheap and flimsy or expensive and made from canvas that is hard on my babies’ skin. I don’t mind spending the money, but I need something soft against their skin but robust. PLEASE, any suggestions would be wonderful!

I suspect a snake, but there are HEN’S eggs.. 20x bigger than a swallow’s egg much closer. The only thing I can think of that could easily get that high is mice. Soooo discouraged
I have tried for six years to get barn, swallows to nest near my barn, in my barn, anywhere. At last I have a nest in my garage, which is not a garage really it’s more of a barn.
I have a beautiful nest and a pair of swallows that dutifully laid six eggs. I checked this morning no eggs. NONE...

Just had a hawk hit, get one my girls and give up. Feathers are everywhere… but all my white girls are present, so he gave up. I actually saw white feathers floating down to the ground… about 15 feet up!
Checking the feathers, there is only one girl whose feathers are … not normal. I’m going...
