Yes, these are actually the babies of one of our pullets turned cockerel who no-one was sure about until he started crowing too 😆 That's why I thought I might get some expert opinions earlier this time, it's so hard to tell with Brahma!

Thanks for your reply. They're about 9 weeks and mostly brahma (dad was brahma and mum half brahma and half unknown)

I have a few chicks who are now getting old enough that I'm hoping that some of you who are far more expert than I might be able to tell if they are male or female. I have numbered them 1-4 as there are a couple of pictures of each of them from different angles. Thanks for your help!

Thank you all, I'm feeling much reassured now that she is a girl. The big comb confused me but now that it's been suggested she is a legbar rather than polish it makes more sense. Thanks for your comments, they are much appreciated

Hi there, I have a polish chicken, around 7 months old, neither laying nor crowing. Thought she was a pullet but the comb and wattle are getting very big so just wanted to check with those more expert than I. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I'm new to keeping chickens and was given 4 to start me off a couple of months ago. I'm told this one is a brahma hen but I don't know, it looks kind of cockerel-y to me? It is about 4-5 months old. Could anyone confirm for me please?
