I had two live traps set last night. Caught one coon but the other ate three birds to the bones.

Not sure how I'm going to replace Dusty. There are some blue golden duckwing OEGB on eBay I might have to pick up. Also looking for someone to build me some pens as well.

The incubator is peeping but no one is out of the shell yet.

Yes picking up bird shot for the shot gun today. It's going to be a vigil tonight after shoring up the coop that was opened last night.

Oh, one of my cochins co parenting with two silver Phoenix hens. And a broody pile up. 🤣 The one in the back on the right side is my gold laced cochin.

Will be replacing the losses with some of the ones I've hatched this year. And soon as I'm done hatching the Ameraucana eggs that are coming I'm getting some Chamois Spitzhauben eggs to hatch for replacing those or a mix of silver and Chamois eggs. Should have 20 plus hatching this Sunday!

Lost three more because they wouldn't go in the coop and wanted to roost in the tree! Only surviver is the oldest golden Phoenix hen I have who knows how to hide from them. 😠 operation coon apocalypse is in effect. Also operation get a LGD some time this year.
