My chickens are not consistent layers. I got 8 eggs yesterday. Out of 9 laying hens that's not bad. So it's not the mulberries.

Have you tried the Reserve? I used it for a treat. I tried putting it in the feeders but they threw out the pellets and just ate the Reserve. I now give them fermented scratch and they love it.

A while back there was a lot of controversy over Purina feeds. Chickens fed with this slowed down their laying. It also happened with Dumor feeds. I read that there was going to be a study on the feeds with a comparison to other feeds. Does anyone know about this? I have not ever seen anything...

My chickens are eating a lot of mulberries. Purple poop everywhere. They have dropped from an average 6 eggs a day down to 3. Are the mulberries doing this or something else?

I don't wear anything. I've breathed so much chemical fumes and pollutants from the chemical plant that I worked in that I don't even think about it. I clean the coop every day so the poop is not dusty just the shavings it's in.

Good looking Dobie. I've had a few and they are the best dogs to have.

I am in sunny Florida. I have 10 hens that I do my best to spoil. It's a mix of 2 barred rock, 2 Australorps, 1 Andalusian(sp), 3 Cinnamon Queens, and 2 Gold Lace Wyandotes.
