I did. It was rocking for 2 days with no pip. And now no rocking. So this chick is now
3 days overdue. And probably has passed. But wanted the opportunity to help if that’s not the case
All of my other chicks have hatched. My final chick is hatching and I’m on day. 23. One of my chicks hatched and disoriented the egg. So I’m wondering if that’s what caused it
Hey there this is my first time hatching chicks and I was almost at 100% until I saw an egg was rocking like it wanted to hatch… then no movement. It was doing this for two days. No pip. Should I pip for it? Or just cut my losses?? I really have no idea what to do.
Hey I’m canceling my eggs and one eggs air sac is off a little. (See attached)
My eggs are due to hats in about 1-3 days. I wish I knew exactly but my hen laid when I was out of town.
I really am determined to have a higher success rate I am a newer Hatcher. This is my first time incubating...
That’s what I’m thinking.
I would say approx a week give or take a day. The other egg that I was looking at from the same time has veins. So. Idk. I think I’ll be getting a light with more lumens
I’m hoping it will asap bc I’d like to replace the missing slots. I have a seabright mix and my rooster is a frizzle so if I could get teeny frizzle chicks I would be so happy. Lol. But seabrights are hard to mate I guess.
I have an egg that’s half and half. When I move it a small amount moves. Like fluid the size of my pinky but the black blob is almost stuck. Is this a dud?
I have been sniffing my eggs like crazy no smell yet!! But today I had an egg half dark and half light? My candler doesn’t have enough lumens for me to tell if it has veins or not.
Yes. And I’m terrified of having an egg explode. And I can’t get my candler to candle on my dark shelled eggs. There’s one egg that’s so thick and dark I see absolutely nothing.
