I went out to the rabbit hutch today and I saw that there were an abundance of gnats so I did a little of research and saw that dryer sheets repel gnats and I was wondering it it would be safe to put them in the rabbit hutch. I would attach them from the ceiling so she couldnt eat it but would...
I keep my rabbit with my silkies too and the only problem I have is whenever one of the broody hens comes out to get food and ends up chasing the bunny around the run but the other chickens are fine with her exploring everything and everyone😂
I have a couple of white, black, and naked necked Silkie hens and I need some good/fun names for them. So if you have any cool name ideas please post them.:)
I did recently get a new metal feeder for her. do you think that she will stop rubbing against the feeder or should I remove it and just go back to what I was using before?
There's another rabbit in the cage next to her, but I don't think the other rabbit could've bitten her though the bars. I did get some new metal feeders that attach to the side of the cage so maybe she got burnt from the metal while eating.
This happened to my 1yr old hen a few weeks ago, I was pretty scared at first so I brought her inside because it was really hot outside and I thought that might have to do with it. And when I did bring her in, It took about 20 min for her to calm down and shes doing fine now.
Shes doing fine, I brought her inside and offered her watermelon and provided water for her, but it still took like 20 min for her to fully stop making the weird sounds and so far that never happened again :flbut it's still a mystery to why it happened.
