    Cinnamon Queen blind overnight

    This is the 2nd hen in a year that has gone blind overnight. She won't eat or drink. We know she is over 4 years old, but don't know her exact age. Her eyes look fine. No cloudiness or damage. Is this an old age thing or something else?

    The run is loaded with flies

    We used this fly trap (Walmart) and it works great! Doesn't smell nice if you get close, but that's what attracts them! Just don't put the water in until you have it securely hung!

    Just joined BYC, but have been here when researching issues. I currently have 7 cinnamon queen hens, 1 silkie rooster, 2 guinea fowl, 5 cats and 1 dog. Hubby and I retired and moved to the Ozarks! Love it here!
