    My grandmother crocheted the bantams about 30 years ago, She's passed but I thought it as the perfect place. ;)

    I used some picture frame shelves I got from Walmart for the perches and we just used some pleasant colored wood paneling from one depot for the walls bc it came in sheets and protected the insulation nicely.

    revolution ..yay!!

    do not use frontline. totally different ingredient and its not safe in those concentrations. there is a specific dose of selamectin(revolution) to give but you need to look it up. each box size has a different mg/ml so you have to use that to figure it out.

    What shape of roosts do you use in your chicken coop?

    2x4 flat side up they are heavy chickens . Salmon faverolles and Sussex. We can get 20-40 below some winters. No heat in coop just good insulation and ventilation.
