I personally haven’t, but I know of people who have and who have had some success with it. It probably depends on how exactly they were stored and handled and transported in comparison to eBay sellers. I’ve had shipped eggs online that have had amazing success and some with no success at all. I...
My first Dixie ever passed away years ago but I jumped at the chance to take two more hens a few weeks ago. They’re just as sweet and lovely as my first one. They are good egg layers too, and I love their coloration. They’re a bit darker than my first, but very similar and so beautiful.
I’ve had veins look a lot like blood rings before and I just leave them a little longer and check them again in a few days. Usually they are okay and it just looked like that for a little while.
I’d keep the egg in the incubator and keep turning it like usual and see how it looks in a few days.

Hey, everyone! My sister teaches about 300 elementary students art in two of our local schools. Most are kindergarten students.
On holidays, I’ve been melting down old, broken crayons into fun holiday-themed shapes to give to the kids. They love them! I’m in search of more crayons, any brand...
Just wanted to update and say that I did manage to get two chicks out of this hatch. There’s another egg left that I stuck in a couple days after the rest, so I’m waiting to see how that one ends up.
I incubated 6 to start with. 2/6, or even 3/6 if the last one hatches, is waaaaay below my...
