Good luck with that!
FYI Lemon Blue doesn't breed true and apparently I was told brown reds don't either (I thought they did)
I also love the color and have been looking for eggs, chicks for a very long time, and no matter where I turn or who I ask they all say no or they don't...
I would like to try to breed for some lemon splash Cochin bantams. I have no idea where
To start.
I would really appreciate any info ....... I haven't been able to find much on this Color.
Thank you!
I always keep my plug out for hatching unless the heat or humidty is low. That's what works for me to keep my humidity around 70-75% and I keep two temp/humidity readers in there at all times.
I bought 2 of these incubators for hatching only, they do pretty well, easy to see the hatching progress, holds temps well and for humidity I fill the bottom totally and add a wet sponge does great! The down size is it's small and could be taller inside but other than that I really like them. :)
First off I'm not sure this thread belongs here and I apologize if it doesn't.
I get all my eggs through shipping, I have gotten a lot and I'm very familiar with all the risks and problems. That being said why oh why don't the sellers send fresh eggs? I've gotten some that have old dates on...
Thanks for the help, once they are in lockdown I don't open till I'm sure they are done..........that's when I end up helping the last one if its not too late.
I used an auto turner and we are dry here in Idaho. That being said this is happening to shipped eggs. :(
Hi all,
I'm getting so frustrated. I keep my hatcher around 99 and my humidity between 74-65% during hatching. I also keep a small dish in with tubing to add water when humidity goes down but still above 65% I have been having some eggs zip and they seem to dry out and die how can this be...
I love this color and I'm wondering if they come in bantams sized and not polish.
Also where would I find out what to breed to what to get this color in the bantams. I would love to try. Just don't know where to even start for sure.
I would appreciate any tips or pointers on this if anyone...
Hi all,
Been wondering why this happens. My last two chicks have both had this happen to them and just would like to know what the cause could be.
Thanks for the help.
I need help........not sure what the problem is but I have a Hova Gensis bator. This is my third time using it this year, I just bought it a couple of months ago, forced air. Its been a total gem until now. My humidty will not stay its either too high or its good for a few hours and by moring...
