Update, 18 eggs are actully being incubated, 2 were added in the first day.
Also 2 of the 18 look like they might bit be growing but I left them as I am unsure if they are dead or not.
Also most of them seem to be growing!
I have silver appleyards, they are pretty awesome, lay huge eggs. Although I don't have much other duck breeds so can't give much advice on the others.
I think silver appleyard female
Although one seems to have the "chocolate" gene which is kinda cool, one has a black bill for some reason and the other one had a beard
Will do, it has only been about 2-3 days since incubation started.
The eggs were way to big to fit in the incubator so we had to get a new one.
There is a total of 16 egg being incubated which will hopefully hatch into silver appleyards but we do have 1 other roeun like male.
Sadly it did not, It died :(
However on the good news that means we do get to start incubation all the other eggs which have been waiting for her to hatch.
Thank you! It doesn't seem to be bleeding. But is does seem to be drying a bit. Still alive though. Also I tried a bit of the water but it seemed to kinda pool, I drained it.
My biggest concerns right now are it getting infected or not being able to get through the membrane.
