It's been ages!
Just to update you. She is now walking!
I have just fed her up and I kept encouraging her to walk or move her legs and finally 3 days ago she took her first steps!:-) Her walking is slow but she is almost back to being fully balanced. She can climb into a nest box, peck between...
The good news is that my Mum's friend has agreed to look after her for the week I go on holiday. I am going to give my mum's friend some cheese and yoghurt to feed her aswell as the anti-inflammatories and her normal food! so glad they didn't put her down today:D I thought they would to be...
I mentioned calcium deficiency on the phone to the vet but this morning when I went to see him he didn't mention it so I'm going to feed her yoghurt and cheese just incase. he looked over her fully, felt her legs, weighed her and checked vent and crop. He seemed to think it was some sort of...
I rang my local vet this morning as soon as I could. I said that I thought it was more than a simple anti-biotics job and so she told me it wasn't worth bringing her in. She gave me to other numbers and I rang the first one only to find out the avian vet is on a conference in Aberdeen about 9...

Thank you! I'm hoping too! I have PM her earlier about it and the good news is that I have convinced my Mum to let me take her to the vets! We are going to try go on Monday! We haven't got a avian vet near us though so my Mum doesn't think they will do anything for her but when I ring up I am...
Keep her indoors or somewhere where she can be safe, warm and have a good rest. She maybe exhausted, scared and in shock so she might just need to sleep it off. You need to keep her warm though, other than that I don't really know, Hope someone comes along who does! Hope your chick recovers
