While I don't currently live with my parents, I've been helping them raise their 8 pretty little hens. I'm no expert, though, and appreciate any help I can get!
I love my chickens, but to most people's surprise, they're not my favorite animal! I adore dogs and horses. I never did get a dog.
And only one horse. However, throughout my life I've owned 21 hens and 3 roosters. Loved every single one of them!
We first started raising chickens solely for their eggs. However, we quickly fell in love with each and every one of them that they soon became pets, too!
