Both feet are injured on my Orpington

Sorry I’m asking so many questions. Just want to get it right. After the Epsom bath, I put sugar and Betadine on the feet and bandage?

Both feet are injured on my Orpington

Yeah that’s a bit of clay of his toes. I seen the video you attached thank you. If il treating it like bumblefoot, my best approach would just be new bandages every 2-3 days and an Epsom bath??

Both feet are injured on my Orpington

They have paper shavings as bedding, they are indoors and dry, except when they free range on the farm. Would bumble foot be all over the foot? I looked up bumble foot and i thought it was 1 black dot and then it was like a plug with infection underneath it??

Both feet are injured on my Orpington

Hello, sorry for the delay. He is confinded/free ranging on a farm. He has shredded paper for bedding now. He is with 3 other Orpingtons and they all walk fine. He’s been like this a few weeks now. I’ve attached images now, I’ve taken some scabs away to see if there was puss and there was none

Both feet are injured on my Orpington

I actually thought after I bandaged him up I should have taken photos. Il be taken bandages off in 2 days to clean and re bandage and il get photos then. It was basically like little scabs al on the sole of the right foot and then on the left it was maybe 2-3 small scabs and one bigger one

Both feet are injured on my Orpington

Hi. I have a buff Orpington rooster. He is about 6 months old. A couple of weeks ago he started to walk funny. He would walk slowly, his toes (both feet) pointed out as if he can bend them. I cleaned them, treated for scaly leg (his scales looked fine but still treated it) trimmed his nails and...

    Sexing Day old Polish chicks

Heya, I’ve heard you can sex Polish chicks by their crest. Does anyone know if these are male or females based on their crest? 😊 I think they are both the same what ever they are 🤔

    Chicks under hen keep dying

Hi, Small bit confused so maybe someone can help 🙏 I’ve a lovely little hen, she hatched early this year. 9 eggs, 9 chicks. She Raised them all outdoors. 1 chick died and others were fine. She decided to go hatching again. She went broody in September. Again, 9 eggs and hatched out all 9...

Why did my Broody hen not hatch any chicks?

Thanks everyone for trying to help me solve this mystery. Still not 100% sure what the reason is? I suppose until she hatches again I won’t know if it was a one off. She started to get a bit skinny cause she wouldn’t come out of the broodiness. So I Went off and bought 5 more 2 day old chicks...

Why did my Broody hen not hatch any chicks?

She’s greasy and bald underneath but doesn’t seem too skinny but don’t particularly want her to hatch again cause I never see her leave her nest and if there’s no hope. She’s just been persistent as I tried isolating and didn’t stop her being broody

Why did my Broody hen not hatch any chicks?

I thought that aswell so I don’t want to put her through another hatch if she just doesn’t get it? I’ve checked her for scaly mites seems grand and she doesn’t smell and others aren’t like that so I’m really baffled and I wouldn’t mind the feathers cause she seems happy but just when the eggs...
