Throw eggs out. Don't try to feed a newborn squab it will die. Just wait till the rollers lay again. It will take at least 10 days for them to do so. Sometimes pigeons won't lay two eggs depends on how old the rollers are

Some breeds are just hard to breed, my giant homers are lazy breeders but my homers and capuchines breed like crazy, I have to use pigeon birth control, i put bantam eggs under them, good luck, I think once they get it right you'll have babies out the wazoo

i use a few handfuls of borax in my guys' bath water and it keeps it under control, it doesn't hurt the birds even if they drink it, i also put apple cider vinegar in the water a few times a month, it all keeps the feathers nice and conditioned.

cochins by far have been my most docile breed, love them

you have to know your broodies. I have ones that are like clock work others are unpredictable. they are your best incubator in my opinion. I have Cochin bantams for the job

i've had rats do the exact samething, raccoons will pull their heads off through the fence but this is typical rat behavior
