We bought 2 white peachicks that are hypothetically only a week or so old but one is definitely a bit older than that (more feather development). He mostly kind of stands around huddled and closes his eyes a lot and just kind of rocks back and forth some almost like hes dozing off. His toes are deformed so something definitely went wrong in the incubating process and I've been taping them but I know they're not entirely fixable. He can stand and walk though, so I'm more worried about the lack of thriving than the actual deformity.

The 2nd chick seems fine, running around and flapping wings etc.

okay wow it's been 2 months and he is now notably smaller than everyone else. we were out of town for 2.5 weeks and when we came back, everyone else had grown and he hadn't. so I separated him out incase it was resource related or bullying and I've had him inside in a dog crate with heat lamp (to combat the A/C and because he's a sad looking little thing). I havent done anything really other than keeping him with easy access to food and water and heat.

Pics incoming.

pictures. I'm concerned he is actively dying but not sure what to do. he has been opening and closing his mouth a lot and making kind of pathetic sounds and is wobbly. @casportpony sorry to tag you directly just not sure what to do. see above post as well

ETA he does have a hole in one of his wings that looks healed.

So sorry for your loss. And sorry you didn't get much help on here. Poor thing, at least he had you looking after him and fixing him healthy teats. Best wishes.
