I started with big chickens... thought, "why would anyone want tiny little pipsqueak chickens?!"... will never go back. Wee ones forever. I dunno what it is about them, but the bantams are so much more kind to each other and me. If you like chickens as pets more than livestock they are no-brainers imo.

I'm leaning to having only bantams or just mostly bantams and my one flock of LF Ameraucana.
