So we have this little drake who gets picked on by the other boys (he has since been removed from the boy pen)
They liked to hold him down and tear out feathers. It wasn’t bad at first as they all tugged on each other, but then we noticed that he started to do it to himself. Like self mutilation.

He’s since been with the girls by himself and is much much happier. He’s a sweet little drake who doesn’t hurt the girls at all, in fact they love him, unlike the others.

However, we are concerned that he doesn’t grow back his feathers in the areas he’s messed with. We haven’t seen him messing with himself and the girls leave him alone.

The feathers around his eyes are gone and the skin is almost a little crusty? As well as his wings and wing feathers. The skin also looks a little green which was odd.

He’s been with them for a few months now and nothing has changed as far as his looks, aside from the fact that he doesn’t have any new wounds.
We don’t think he’s contagious since the girls look normal, but would like another input on how to help him out.

Having owned ducks for over a decade, this is the first time we’ve ever had or seen this.
