    Rusty chicken waterer

    We have a plastic bucket with the little red chicken waterers in it. We have very hard water, and the little ball bearings keep rusting. Anyone know how to prevent this? I'm afraid the chickens will get dehydrated because we know they have water but don't know when they can't get it out.
