I have 5 Rouen ducklings, 10 days old. I bought a Brinsea EcoGlow and just put it in their brooder, and they fled in fear, chirping loudly. They seem very afraid of it. Has anyone had this experience? Hoping they get used to it and go under it. Thanks!

Which tier should the Brinsea Ecoglow 20 be at for three week old silkie chicks? I wanted it kept in the middle for a bit longer, but my family's adamant it should raised to the top by now. What do you think?
