I don't blame you--I grew up in the DFW area and traffic was crazy even then--I can't imagine now with all of the population boom there in the last 5 or so years. Especailly Dallas, ugh. I always thought Dallas drivers were the worst. At least on the Ft. Worth side they let you in to merge.

So cute!
Not gonna lie, now I really wanna watch the movie Matilda. :lau Anyone down for a Matilda watch party? I've used a free app called Kast to watch movies with people remotely before and it seemed to work pretty well.
Oh man, Matilda is a classic 90s kid movie, totally worth the watch. Full of 90s cheese and very heartwarming, feels quite like a fable. It's based fairly closely on the Roald Dahl book of the same name.

Maybe the foot has...

Interestingly, frostbite is possible not only without water or metal, but also without having super low temps(though the odds definitely increase the colder the air is). My understanding is that proper ventilation, specifically overhead space above the roosting area, is the first step in...
So happy to hear that she's doing well! I'm curious to see what, if any, toe flesh survives on this foot.
In the meantime, enjoy your new lap chicken. :3
Side note: Is that an underbite I see? Never seen a hen with a longer lower beak than upper. Has she always had that?
