eh thinking it is better than saying it. :)
there's a line to everything though.
I was making an outfit for a historical event - you're allowed creative license but it's supposed to be somewhat based in historical reality - because I thought buying the clothes was "cheating"... and then I...
decided to just remove all damaged leaves lol
now I want a guide for how to pick which existing strawberry plant to keep! because I need room to plant the new one
hmmpf mushy is not my jam either! I used to have to snap the ends off before dinner as a kid until my mom realized I ate every 5th bean. 😂
well we will find out. this is my first year going all out and also planting things at the correct times. so hopefully I learn a thing or two for next year...
we got a trailer load and will probably get another one this year
there's a picture somewhere - I cant find it - of SO lifting up the tongue of the trailer with the bobcat until all the mulch slid off the back. :lau
yeah I wasn't going to do onions but it was a 1/2 lb set for 1$ at the feed...
mulch for sure. in some places we are also using weedmat. the argument against weedmat is that seeds and dirt and broken down mulch can land on it and then there will be weeds anyway BUT their roots will be sprawling and not well anchored so they're easier to pull
I planted onions today because the feed store had sets. Pulled up a few more weeds. I need to set up 2 tent stakes and string to define a straight line of mulch vs grass for the grapes. Because the grass is basically made a weeds so its very confusing lol.
Yesterday I weeded one of the rose beds...
I did some more weeding today. I have had a couple things pop up outside but they are not looking so hot after the freeze soo may just end up starting over.
I found a calendar for my location and it suggests starting a lot of things inside that I was gunna start outside so now I'm reassessing...
