Indeed. We do…:highfive:
I dunno…I’ve just never really been fond of geese, I guess. I once had a Chinese and African goose…That didn’t last long.
I ended up processing, smoking and eating them.
And those ridiculous loud honking noises they make too -shudders- I swear it’s louder than my car sometimes…I watch them fly by overhead every year and I SMDH. Filthy things.
I wasn’t planning on doing anything in the garden today but my birds had other plans in store for me when they decided to scatter the neatly stacked pile of dead tomato plants that I had in the corner all over the ground for me to clean up…:
It’s been a balmy February here so far, I’ll say…All...
I haven’t even finished clearing and tilling up my gardens yet before winter but I will get to that soon. I still have quite a few cantaloupe, pepper and tomato plants out there.
Harvested a bunch more jalapeños today and am now in the process of making my own hot pepper seasoning:
Also…I think I’m about done with canning this year as I am quickly running out of space 🤦🏼♀️:
I’d say that since it’s a dwarf peach tree, you might want to trim/prune back some of those long skinny top branches this upcoming fall so that it will bush out next year.
These ones specifically:
Taking too much away from it causes stress but overall it’s still alive and healthy from what I can see.
Those top branches are quite long and that would explain why some of them broke.
Yeah, I think that’s way too much weight to take off a young tree. I personally would have only trimmed 50% or less, but I don’t know exactly what you’re dealing with. Got any pics?
